David Weekley and Homes by Dickerson secure awards in Parade of Homes!
Briar Chapel is proud to announce that both homes shown in the 2021 Triangle Parade of Homes won awards from the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham counties! This year, Briar Chapel showcased an old-school brownstone-inspired single-family design by Homes by Dickerson and a townhome from the newest collection by David Weekley Homes.
David Weekley won gold in the $360K-$420K category with The Oakwood, a three-bedroom, three-bath, two-car garage, two-story townhome. The Oakwood combines unparalleled design and genuine comforts with top-quality craftsmanship. The owner’s retreat features a sizable walk-in closet and a delightful bathroom. The upstairs retreat can easily be transformed into a family movie theater, game lounge or library. The open-concept family and dining rooms present limitless potential. The covered porch offers a great space to enjoy a quiet hour or sip your favorite beverage while enjoying a book.
Homes by Dickerson took home bronze in the $875K-$975K category for Uptown Funk, a four-bedroom, four-bath, 3,254 square foot home. Uptown Funk combines Italianate architecture and eclectic upscale design in a bold New York brownstone-inspired home. Old-school trim details, bold pops of color, patterned tile, modern lighting fixtures and lion-head symbols hidden throughout make this home truly one of a kind.
