Newland Communities Scored Triangle-Wide Awards in Parade of Homes
-- Briar Chapel and Wendell Falls Nabbed Nine Accolades in Annual Home Tour --
TRIANGLE, N.C. - October 21, 2016 - Briar Chapel and Wendell Falls, the Triangle’s master-planned communities by Newland Communities, topped the Triangle Parade of Homes with nine combined awards across Wake, Durham, Chatham and Orange Counties. Hosted in October 2016 by the Home Builders Associations of Wake County and Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, the Parade of Homes featured a total of 15 green homes located in Newland’s two Triangle communities.

Builders in Briar Chapel, located in Chapel Hill, claimed five awards in this year’s Parade of Homes, including Golds awarded to Garman Homes, Homes By Dickersonand David Weekley Homes, in addition to a Silver presented to David Weekley. Wendell Falls, situated in Wendell, secured three Golds awarded to Homes By Dickerson and M/I Homes, as well as a Bronze to Fresh Paint.
The Triangle Parade of Homes, North Carolina’s largest open house presented by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh–Wake County and the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, was a self-guided tour offered from noon to 5 p.m. on October 1-2, 7-9 and 14-16.
